How to add backsplash and/or side splash:
 
Pick the size(s) of your vanity.
Pick your color/material.
Pick whether it is for a sidesplash or backsplash. If your vanity is touching a wall on both sides you will need 2 side splashes. 
 
You will only need a side splash if your vanity will be touching a wall on either side
